With great pleasure and transcendental happiness we are very grateful to announce that after much work, Krishna Path has finished the original 1968 Teachings of Lord Chaitanya book scan.

Teaching of Lord Chaitanya 1968 book cover

It just so happens that we finished all the remastering work (removing background splotches, sharpening the text to be readable, searchable and copy and pastable etc) late last night on the most auspicious disappearance day of Srila Ramacandra Kaviraja and appearance day of Srila Gopala Bhatta Gosvami. And finished adding the remastered covers and clickable bookmarks today, the most auspicious disappearance day of Sri Jayadeva Goswami.

Below you can see pictures of what we mean by remastering.

Remastered TLC cover

As you can clearly see does not believe in changing any of the Acharyas work in any way. Srila Prabhupada saw, approved, and invested his books with all transcendental blessings. If we, conditioned souls change anything at all we are messing with perfection, and perfection cannot be improved upon!

Srila Prbahupada wrote to Satsvarupa in December 23, 1967 the year before this first 1968 edition was printed. Prabhupada clearly instructs that I also do not like too much editorial work… I do not want that Teachings of Lord Chaitanya should be edited again and typed again and time wasted in that way… That is my desire.”

But later this book as well as many others was edited against the many instructions Srila Prabhupada gave to his disciples.  This has now become an insane trend among some of the current leaders of ISKCON. Read more on this here. Rupanuga prabhu (one of the most senior disciples of Srila Prabhupada) has written a very nice article on this subject you can read here. has also added 3 other original books since our last newsletter.

On the Way to Krsna (original 1973 book scan in pdf)

The Krsna Consciousness Movement is the Genuine Vedic Way (a small booklet that was printed to let the world know that the hare Krishna movement is an bona fide spiritual path coming directly from the authorized Vedic texts)

Transcendental Broadcast a Television Interview (a small booklet printed in 1972)

Even more to come!

With great pleasure we offer you the audio book version of Dialectic Spiritualism that can be downloaded for free from the free audiobook download page.

Dialectic Spiritualism - A Vedic View on Western Philosophy COVER

If you have an inquisitive intelligence the “Dialectic Spiritualism” audiobook is a must have!

In this one monumental tome, Srila Prabhupada confronts many of the leading exponents of Western thought and philosophy. Prabhupada presents the definitive Vedic verdict on the dominant social, philosophical and cultural concepts that have shaped our world.
“From 1973 to 1976, His Divine Grace … recorded a hundred hours of discourses on thirty-six Western philosophers from Socrates to Sartre. At the final session, he gave the book it’s title and said, “Print it at once!”

But the next year, Srila Prabhupada left this mortal world, and the manuscript remained unpublished, as some of his disciples feared releasing such a controversial book. “It’s an unscholarly punch in the nose,” one professor objected. “It’s a treatise against philosophy,” said another.

Now everyone can decide for himself. Despite attempts at suppression, here is Srila Prabhupada’s last great opus – ”Dialectic Spiritualism”, the complete and unexpurgated philosophy book as Srila Prabhupada spoke it.”

How to approach the aural reception of this book.

Start by forgetting what you think you know. Do not fall into the offensive mindset of the puffed up men who thought that they understood Western Philosophy more deeply than His Divine Grace, even to the point of fighting tooth and nail to try and repress this book’s publication. Understand that Srila Prabhupada is responding at face value to the questions presented by Syamasundara and Hayagriva. Prabhupada never gets diverted into esoteric epistemological labyrinths. He simply presents the Vedic response with noble impartiality. Prepare to have your cherished conceptions of Western thought slapped around the side of the head and thrown out on their ear.

And relish the novelty and utter unpredictability of Srila Prabhupada’s answers. This is manna for the devotee brain.

I recommend listening to this audio book in small sections at a time, thoughtfully, contemplating at most a chapter or two at a sitting. Give your intelligence the time to digest these topics that have been pondered for millennia.

Srila Prabhupada spent over a hundred precious hours on recording the discourses that went in to the publication of this book. He spoke for the benefit of the whole world, but especially for the benefit of his followers. He spoke for you! So hear with careful attention to this superb audio book rendition and prepare to have a mind-expanding experience.

As mentioned above, today is the most holy disappearance day of Srila Jayadeva Goswami who wrote the Gita Govinda.

The Krishna Path Library has two different versions of the Gita Govinda for your reference.

Although the Krishna Path Library includes many books on Vaisnavism written by various authors, they are presented only for your reference because Krishna Path is specifically dedicated to Srila Prabhupada and his mood and teachings.

As it is said in the Bhagavad-gita 10.34 “One need not read many books on different subject matters; the ability to remember a few and quote them when necessary is also another opulence.” But we know that the nature of a conditioned soul is to read many books on different subject matters, so we have made the library page on Krishna Path for your scholarly reference.
