All these devotees are undoubtedly magnanimous souls, but he who is situated in knowledge of Me I consider verily to dwell in Me. Being engaged in My transcendental service, he attains Me.
PURPORT
IT IS NOT THAT OTHER DEVOTEES WHO ARE LESS COMPLETE IN KNOWLEDGE ARE NOT DEAR TO THE LORD. THE LORD SAYS THAT ALL ARE MAGNANIMOUS BECAUSE ANYONE WHO COMES TO THE LORD FOR ANY PURPOSE IS CALLED A MAHATMA OR GREAT SOUL. (Bg 7.18)
So wait for a second, it seems like Krishna loves everyone. So why do I hate certain people? Even some devotees…
Like the Ritviks? (didn’t my temple president tell me I should hate them or something like that).
Or what about those darn Narayana maharaja followers?
Who is Narayana Maharaja any way?
Or what about the Gaudiya Math people, are they still there?
And what about those blind followers of all those gurus that fell down?
So I guess if Krishna likes everyone and I want to try to like Krishna that means that sooner or later I will have to meet all these friends of Krishna that Krishna likes. So if I am a jerk to them and call them names and be mean to them what will Krishna think of me?
Hmmm….
